Rob Freeman Jr. has over 15 years of experience in sustainable business, commercial real estate and green building consulting. Rob is a LEED AP and GPRO O+M and serves as a Vice President at Venbrook Insurance Services where he is Program Manager of FITCO and leads the sustainable buildings practice specializing in insurance and risk management strategies that result in profitable, efficient, healthy buildings.

Prior to Venbrook, Rob was the founder and CEO of Green Buildings Online Inc., an e-commerce business and award-winning publisher of training tools for professionals in the green building design and construction industries. GBO’s customers included and worked for leading organizations such as the U.S. Green Building Council, Hewlett Packard, Waste Management, Starbucks, Staples, Johnson Controls, Turner, Marriott, Siemens, Yale, Stanford, SOM, Gensler, Skanska, Kohls, Target, JP Morgan and many others.

Prior to Green Buildings Online Inc., Rob worked in commercial real estate as a property manager and asset manager for two private equity funds in New York City.

Rob holds a BA from Skidmore College and an MBA from Babson College. He lives with his family in Ridgefield, Connecticut where he serves on the Board of the Ridgefield Library and as co-chair of Ridgefield Action Committee for the Environment (RACE).
